Laura Bertacchini, M.A.,
LCMHCA
Through her work, she fosters lasting healing and sustainable personal growth. Laura also works with couples to cultivate mutual understanding and safely navigate obstacles to intimacy and connection.
Laura’s passion is treating complex trauma by integrating attachment focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and a trauma-informed lens. She uses attachment theory to provide context for how early relationship wounds created core vulnerabilities and coping mechanisms. To address these wounds safely, she applies a trauma framework that is mindful of the body, as well as the neurobiological aspects of trauma and attachment.
This integrated approach allows her to create a safe space and facilitate insight and understanding, leading to new understandings and strategies.
This framework is effective and impactful for clients with histories of childhood trauma, attachment wounds, struggles with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and other mental health challenges. This approach focuses on honoring your experience, making space for your mental health journey.
