Reanna Barrese,
MSW
Reanna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate life's challenges through a trauma-informed and relationship-centered approach. Drawing from her experience of working with diverse populations, she has developed a particular passion for supporting children impacted by trauma, recognizing how these experiences can contribute to emotional regulation challenges and the complexity within the family-dynamic system. She has a special interest in working with young clients as they explore identity development, life transitions, and the lasting effects of past experiences that can leave individuals feeling stuck or disconnected from their goals while integrating.
When working with children and preteens, Reanna incorporates parent-child relationship-focused approaches, including Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), to help families navigate behavioral and emotional challenges with greater confidence and connection. She partners with parents who may feel unsure of what to do next, offering practical tools and strategies that foster healthier communication, stronger relationships, and lasting positive change at home.
Reanna earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work and values the powerful influence of both biological and environmental factors on an individual's development and well-being. Understanding that there are many worldviews in our culture today, Reanna offers appointments in both faith-based and secular in theory.
Her therapeutic style is person-centered and collaborative, integrating Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) interventions. Reanna also draws from Attachment Theory to help clients understand the deeper roots of one’s thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns—not to remain focused on the past, but to use that understanding as a pathway toward healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change.
